Terms of Service
Overview
Welcome to SafePick. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SafePick application and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by us. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. This agreement is between you and SafePick ("we", "us", "our"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a school or other organization ("Organization"), you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and the terms "you" and "your" will refer to both you as an individual and the Organization.
These Terms, along with our Data Retention & Archiving Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and SafePick regarding your use of our Service. They supersede any prior agreements.
1. The services we provide
Our Service provides a secure and efficient platform for managing school operations. We offer several role-based dashboards tailored to the specific needs of different users within the school community:

2. Your commitments to SafePick
To ensure a safe, secure, and reliable environment for all users, you commit to the following:
- Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain the accuracy of this information. This includes your personal details, and where applicable, information about your children, emergency contacts, and vehicles. The integrity of the Service depends on this accuracy.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Acceptable Use: You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes refraining from attempting to access data you are not authorized to view, interfering with the Service's operation, probing for vulnerabilities, or using the Service for any illegal purpose.
- Compliance with School Policies: Your use of the Service is also subject to the policies and procedures of the school or organization you are associated with.
3. The permissions you give us
To operate our Service, we need certain permissions from you:
- License to Your Content: You retain ownership of the data you submit. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, reproduce, and display this data solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service for you and your Organization.
- Permission to Update Software: You give us permission to download and install updates to the Service on your devices where applicable, to improve, enhance, and further develop the Service.
4. Additional provisions
- Termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may also stop using the Service at any time. Data upon termination will be handled as described in our Data Retention Policy.
- Disclaimers: The Service is provided "AS IS". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Service.
- Limitation of Liability: Our liability to you for any cause whatsoever will be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us for the Service during the 12 months prior to the initial action giving rise to liability.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is incorporated.
- Updates to Terms: We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.
